The First Professional Speedy

We are delighted to offer for sale this fantastic Speedmaster featuring a beautiful black dial in very nice condition. The hour plots and correct baton hands have taken on a rich yellow patina. There is a little paint loss on the chrono and seconds hands.  The 105.012 Speedmaster was the reference that is the only version to have been confirmed as landing on the moon and was the first Speedy to feature the text ‘PROFESSIONAL’ on the dial and to feature the iconic asymmetrical lugs. The original ‘dot over 90’ 500-base insert is present and in excellent condition. The case is very strong and is the CB version (see below). The bracelet is in very good, usable condition. The watch comes with a Omega Exctract, dating delivery in Finland in 1967 and the watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
